Research  Experience:

Prof. Jun Yan, graduated from Dublin City University (DCU), is a National Distinguished Expert, an expert receives State Council Government Special Allowance, National Distinguished Expert (The Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC/Ministry of Human Resources and Social Affairs, 2011), Part-time Vice Chairman of the 11th Federation of Overseas Chinese of Guangdong Province, Chairman of Zhuhai Doctoral Association, Founder and Chairman of Zhuhai Obit Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd., Adjunct Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, Honorary Dean of the School of Big Data of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and Distinguished Professor of Zhongkai University of Agriculture Engineering.

Prof. Jun Yan has presided over the R&D of SPARC architecture S698 series of aerospace SOC chips, SIP microsystems, satellite spatial information platforms, commercial satellite constellations, satellite big data systems and other scientific research and industrialization projects; won the national key new product (2006) and other honors, Jun Yan won 1 third prize of National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award as the first completer (2005), and won the second prize of National Defense Science and Technology Progress 1 (2002) and 1 third prize (2007) as a co-developer. The "Zhuhai No. 1" video satellite OVS-1 project that he presided over won the second prize of the Geographic Information Technology Progress Award (2018). The "Zhuhai No. 1" hyperspectral satellite construction and application" project won the first prize of Geographic Information Technology Progress (2019) and the first prize of Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology Progress Award (2019).
